Annual sales of approximately EUR 18 billion make United Nordic one of the largest purchasers of food and household products in the region. The private label purchasing value of our owners is today EUR 1.2 billion, and keeps growing.
As an organization with a 25% market share we deliver products to more than 5000 shops throughout the region. In addition, we are a primary supplier to the foodservice market with a market share of more than 50%.

What We Buy
United Nordic coordinates purchasing and we strive to harmonize suppliers' brands and/or specifications where possible. This enables our suppliers to run longer production series and offer us better prices. Thus, United Nordic works with a large number of suppliers who individually supply a uniform product range to stores throughout the Nordic countries.
The joint purchasing within United Nordic in 2011 amounted to EUR 230 million. We are strong in the dry food categories, such as canned fruit and vegetables as well as frozen food. Other categories, such as non-food items and chilled food, are rapidly growing.
