Date Syrup
Our date syrup is the extract of carefully selected, mature, wholesome dates indigenous to the uninhabited, hot and dry regions in the southern and southeastern parts of Iran. They are grown without human interventions such as watering, weeding, fertilizing, etc. Its high sugar content acts as a natural preserving agent and, when protected from moisture and extraneous contaminants, the syrup has an almost indefinite shelf life. The product is processed in a temperature lower than 40 °C to prevent the formation of carcinogens in the syrup.
A customized fully-automatic Italian machine is utilized to process this product. The dates are harvested and the foreign materials are cleared away. They are then thoroughly washed and the kernels and caps are removed. In the next stage, the dates are crushed to form a paste. The paste then is transferred to a vacuum vessel where it is processed in a temperature lower than 40 °C for 5 hours. The paste juice is extracted in the filtering stage. The extract is then concentrated to a total solid content of 80% by weight and enters the vacuum vessel once again to be further processed. In the final stage, the extract is transferred to the packaging unit where it is bottled and packed. Our date syrup contains no additives or preservatives and is available in a number of packaging formats including plastic jars and tin cans.
