Frozen Fruits

Scandic Food stocks a range of frozen berries and vegetables that are packed by our Polish sister company. Production takes place in 2 freezer plants in Poland, in agricultural districts with comprehensive berry and vegetable production.

The freezing plants live up to all requirements set by western European supermarket chains and control authorities. For cleansing and sorting of berries and vegetables our plants apply laser sorting machinery - equipment which only a few producers have at their disposal.

The products are sold both in retail packs to the supermarket chains and in bulk for industrial processing, but also to other companies that produce retail packs.

Of course our sister companies supply the raw products to our own production in the Danish factories, and we thus secure control of the fruit raw products all the way from the field to the finished product.
