Organic honey is produced in vast natural areas or organically grown areas with a minimum distance of 3 km to conventionally grown areas, cities and villages, industrial areas, major roads, etc. This minimum distance is fixed based on the honey bees’ actual flying range so that one can be certain that the honey is of organic origin.
