Guidance

To avoid any extra costs due to a small mistake, we’d like to offer some guidance. As your agent in Indonesia, We must get the pre-alert or shipping information not more than 5 days after vessel sailing from origin port. Pre-alert is an absolute necessity for us as your agent in Indonesia. Otherwise, Customs department might impose a penalty for the late sending manifest.

For some specific cargoes such as hazardous cargoes, heavy machine cargo or electronic, chemical, steel, food, cosmetic, garment and so on (in case of Non-Customs Bonded) please contact to us first before you execute the shipment to Indonesia. There are various regulations for such shipment. This is for making whole import process perfect without any problem.

According to Indonesia custom regulation, the actual consignee must be shown on the MB/L consignee column with the address and phone number. And PT. Freight Cargo Logistics will be on notify party. On MAWB, PT Freight Cargo Logistics is on consignee column with short written address,  notify party is filled with same as consignee. 

Starting from September 1, 2009 all wooden packaging for inbound cargos to Indonesia must be treated with ISPM 15 standard wooden packaging and fumigation. Importer must show the proper certificate for clearance purposes. Otherwise, it will make the cargo subject to destruction or return to shipper at shipper’s account.
