Manufacturing Process

We have been continuously upgrading the vast knowledge capital and technology to keep in tunes with the ever growing and demanding market needs at the global level.

The plants are equipped with state of the art machinery sourced from Buhler of Germany, Korea, and England. Present Infrastructure is consist of various “fully Integrated, 100% Automated Rice Milling, Parboiling, Processing & Packaging Units. Export capability of the company is ably supported by its experienced management and in continuous research & Development, which enabled to produce qualitative products with a wide range in its product profile. 

Description of Rice Milling Operation:

Paddy in its raw form cannot be consumed by human beings. It needs to be suitably processed for obtaining rice. Rice milling is the process which helps in removal of hulls and barns from paddy grains to produce polished rice. Rice forms the basic primary processed product obtained from paddy and this is further processed for obtaining various secondary and tertiary products.

The basic rice milling processes consist of:

Dried Paddy is stored in the gunny bags for getting matured for two months.

Pre Cleaning

Pre cleaning is known as paddy pre - cleaning machines. Each machine has the capacity to separate 5 per/hour tons of paddy in terms of their quality. It ensures the removal of sand, mud, Stone or any other form of dust particles. The four-step process of soaking, cooking, drying and then milling follows the cleaning process. Now the paddy is dried with the help of machine Drier and then milled. The husk is removed and then the grain is polished. The parboiled rice gives a fluffy separate gain on cooking.

Husking

Before milling matured paddy is again dried to bring the moisture level to 10 to 10.5%. Paddy grains are cleaned and husk and polished in our Modern Rice Mill located in Karnal (HARYANA).

Processing

The rice can be processed as per specific requirements and quality standards given by the buyers. We can produce rice varieties in BROWN, WHITE, etc. Parboiled can also be produced on special order basis.

Polishing

Normally rice is polished singly or twice by either of the two techniques - simple pearling polish or high gloss silky polishing.

Processing Before Shipment

The Milled Rice is again processed by Sortex and graded in our plant and packing Unit conforming to internationl parameters of excellence, we ensure Basmati Rice with length exceeding 7.1 mm and perfectly toppered ends.

Packing

We have the most modern electronic weighing scales that ensure high degree of accuracy in weighing. We realize that a very important part of marketing is packaging; so rice is attractively packed in sizes ranging from 1 kg to 100 kg in:

Jute bags
Cotton bags
Paper bags
Polyethylene bags

High quality packing material preserves natural aroma and taste. Any type of packing can be done according to the requirements of the buyer.
